AXA Assistance North America region encompasses the United States, Canada and the Caribbean, with 24 hour medical emergency call centers in Miami, Chicago and Montreal.

AXA Assistance’s worldwide presence, with its 35 operational centers, allows our clients and customers the convenient access to the impeccable selection of quality credentialed providers.

In the North America and Caribbean region we can provide a broad range of hospitals, centers of excellence, clinics, doctors, air ambulances, medical correspondents’ and non emergency service providers.

Our provider network is built upon the Principle of Medical Network at AXA Assistance USA, which principle serves as the standard guideline for provider selection, recruitment and credentialing. AXA Assistance USA providers are selected based on extensive research from credible worldwide sources and U.S. partners. Frequent provider site visits by our experienced provider network specialists, medical team and medical correspondents are conducted to ensure the quality of the provider services meets our standards.

All AXA Assistance USA PPO network partners are among the top five PPO networks and health plans in U.S.  Because of this, AXA Assistance USA relies and entrusts their rigorous provider credentialing process.

Some of our provider network resources include the following subsidiaries and partnership:

  • AXA/HAA Preferred Partners: Providing TPA services with access to 600,000 Physicians and ancillary providers and 4,500 facilities in the U.S.
  • CTY: "Close To You" is the name of our internal database of medical providers shared among the 39 AXA Assistance offices, also available on the Internet.
  • Asia Clinics: Offer specific specialist access and telemedicine capabilities, concentrating in recruitment of provider with Western medical training standards.
  • AXA/EMC: AXA Assistance USA subsidiary that provides global medical care in remote areas for corporations.
  • AXA/PPP: PPP Healthcare is the international health insurance company of AXA in the U.K. that provides access to its international facilities and physician networks.
  • Access to Preferred Network: AXA Insurance, PPP and AXA Assistance together have developed a specific network of providers with pre-negotiated rates.
